Hilly, with medium altitude of 230 metres above sea level, prevalently clay and limestone.
Period of commercialization
Determined by the oenologist in relation to the optimal characteristics of the product. In any case not before the month of April/May of the second year after the one of vinification.
Vinification and ageing
Traditional with skin contact by maceration of the skins with controlled temperature in stainless steel fermentation vessels.
Sensory Characteristics
Ruby red colour. Aroma of red mature fruit and delicate spicy notes, with hints of plum and tobacco. It is soft, with good structure, balanced and with a good length.
Food and wine pairing
Excellent with hors d’oeuvres, first courses with tomato sauce, the meat-based second courses, semi matured cheese.
